A court ruling that introduced a near-total ban on abortion led to a nationwide wave of protests.<span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;\">The report examines motivations, emotions, and forms of engagement of participants. Results show that they viewed the ruling as highly harmful and were strongly motivated to oppose it. Most engaged in multiple forms of protest, often for the first time in their lives.
