The authors discuss key methodological and ethical issues, including measurement, social desirability bias, the validity of experimental manipulations, sample selection, and ethical considerations.<\/p><p>The chapter also presents different types of experimental designs and illustrates them with examples from existing studies. Overall, the review highlights both the challenges and the promise of experimental approaches in deepening our understanding of violent
